ABOUT
Somatic Practitioner • Intimacy & Relationship Coach • Facilitator • Artist
My work has always been about what brings us closer. Closer to ourselves. To our bodies. To truth. To one another. To the parts of life that can't always be understood intellectually, but can be deeply felt.
For over 15 years, I have been exploring, studying and facilitating work across embodiment, nervous system healing, intimacy, sexuality, relationships, spirituality, sound and ritual.
Today, these worlds have become less separate.
My work weaves somatic therapy, nervous system science, relationship psychology and embodied practice with conscious touch, sacred sexuality, elements of tantra, sound, ritual, energy work and intuition.
I work with individuals and couples, privately and in groups, creating spaces where people can understand their patterns, meet themselves more honestly, deepen their capacity for intimacy and experience new ways of relating, to themselves and to the people they love.
Increasingly, relationships have become a central part of this work.
Alongside my partner Seán, I facilitate couples workshops, retreats and private immersions exploring the art of relationship: how we communicate and repair, how we understand one another's nervous systems, how we keep desire and intimacy alive, and how we continue to grow as individuals without growing away from one another.
I believe healthy relationships are one of the most powerful places we can practice this work.
Because our relationships touch everything. Our wellbeing, our families, our sexuality, our creativity, the way we parent, the communities we create and ultimately the way we move through the world.
THE BODY HAS ALWAYS BEEN MY WAY IN.
Long before I had language for somatics or nervous system work, I understood experience through sensation, movement, sound and energy.
I began practising yoga and meditation over two decades ago, eventually completing more than 1,000 hours of teacher training and going on to study Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy, nervous system regulation and Polyvagal-informed practice, myofascial and body-based work, somatic intimacy and relationship coaching, sacred sexuality, Reiki and energy healing, and sound healing.
Over the years I have facilitated thousands of hours of private work, workshops, retreats and group experiences internationally whilst continuing to study, practice and evolve the work I share.
And after all these years, I rarely experience these as separate modalities anymore.
I listen.
To the body. To the nervous system. To what is being said and what isn't. To the patterns moving underneath an experience. And, when it arises, to the intuitive and energetic information that has always been part of how I perceive people.
Sometimes the work is psychological. Sometimes deeply physical. Sometimes relational. Sometimes energetic or spiritual.
Usually, it is several of these at once.
Music, Sound & AYNI
Music was my first language.
I began singing and writing songs as a child, long before I understood that sound could become part of my work. It has remained one of the most constant threads of my life, as an artist, songwriter, performer and sound practitioner.
My music lives through my solo work as Yuna Earth, as well as Ayni, my collaborative music project with Joanna Lewins, creating devotional and contemporary medicine music rooted in voice, harmony and the shared experience of sound.
Alongside recorded and live music, I have spent years working with sound therapeutically, with voice, crystal singing bowls, gong and other instruments — creating sound journeys, ceremonies and immersive experiences designed to bring people out of the thinking mind and deeper into the body.
For me, music and facilitation have never felt entirely separate.
Both are ways of listening. Both work beneath language. Both can reach places that explanation sometimes cannot.
Whether I am holding a room, working with a body, sitting with a couple or singing into a space, I am interested in the same thing:
What becomes possible when we listen more deeply?
Grounded in the Body. Open to Mystery.
This intersection has become one of the defining qualities of my work.
I care deeply about groundedness. About understanding trauma, attachment, relationship dynamics, physiology and the nervous system. About practices having integrity and actually being useful in people's lives. And I am equally interested in what sits beyond what we can easily measure.
Intuition. Energy. Ritual. Creativity. Eros. The sacred. The extraordinary intelligence we encounter when we become quiet enough to listen.
I don't believe we need to choose between the two. My work lives somewhere in the meeting.
Between science and mystery. Psychology and embodiment. The individual and the relationship. Healing and aliveness. Depth and play.
A life beyond work
I am also a mother, musician, entrepreneur and investor, and these parts of my life deeply inform how I understand embodiment and relationship.
I am interested in this work being lived, in relationships, family, creativity, sexuality, leadership, business and ordinary Tuesday mornings rather than existing only inside a healing room or retreat.
Ultimately, everything I create is an invitation into deeper relationship.
With your body. With your truth. With the people you love. And with the life that is asking to be lived through you.
